Educational Business Development Manager

Job Responsibilities

Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.

  • Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
  • Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals.
  • Has contacts in their “rolodex” at the School, District or Supervisor Level
  • Demonstrates previous experience selling in the Education Field
     

PHP/MySQL Developer

Job Responsibilities

Passion for best design and coding practices and a desire to develop new bold ideas

  • Write “clean”, well-designed code, solid background in PHP / MySQL
  • Produce detailed specifications
  • Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
  • Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS 3, Javascript, etc.
  • Experience with Git version control tools
  • Experience in common third-party APIs (Google Docs, MS OneDrive, Facebook, etc.)
  • Understanding of open source projects like Drupal
  • Experience with integrating payment APIs such as Stripe
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, EMR, etc.) is big plus 
  • Experience with any of these a plus: Laravel, jQuery, AWS SDK
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Salesforce Developer

Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Salesforce.com based applications and enhancements
  • Build custom applications on the Force.com platform
  • Understand and leverage the Salesforce APIs
  • Review and understand business requirements and create functional and technical design
  • Follow established Salesforce development standards and best practices
  • Assist in troubleshooting technical issues
  • Maintain existing applications with an eye to continuous automation and improvement
  • Stay current on Force.com technology changes and Salesforce releases
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Educational Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.

  • Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
  • Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
  • Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
